Casino Etiquette for the Gambler
In a place like the casino that is packed with people there will always be conflicts. People are born with different personalities, different point of views and different opinions. That is why there is conflict.
There will be one gambler who wants to play at two slot machines at the same time, while others are patiently waiting for their turn.
One gambler loves to smoke while the opposite of him at the poker table does not smoke.
Some gamblers tend to snap other gambler's decision while others just keep quiet.
There are gamblers who easily pick a fight from a simple discussion.
These are what we called social conflicts. In a social gathering like in a casino, we are expected to be in our best manner towards others all the time.
The following are simple casino etiquettes that we should observe and practice.
*One machine per person only.
This is true especially if you are playing at a very busy casino. Some casinos put signage like "one machine per person only". You should respect this signage to avoid trouble.
Always give other gamblers a chance to play on the slot machine and enjoy themselves like you do. And in return, when the time comes that they are playing on the slot machine, they too will give you a chance to play as well.
Playing at two slot machines at a time does not give you higher chance of hitting the jackpot. The slot machine does not work that way.
*Make a quick break if you are using the slot machine
If you are using the slot machine and you feel that you need to take a break, you can take a break but make it real quick.
Oftentimes we need to go to the bathroom, we need to get a change or just stretch our legs outside. You may take a break, leave your jacket or cap on top of the machine to indicate that you are still using the machine but you will be back real soon.
Do not go too far. Do not take a break too long. You can ask assistance with a casino host to watch the machine for you for a while, while you do your thing. A little tip after you came back would be much appreciated.
*Smoke only at allowed area
You will know if you are allowed to smoke in an area if there is the presence of an ash tray, otherwise if there is none then it is not a place to smoke.

*Avoid giving unsolicited advice.
This is improper, if you are asked for an advice give it. Otherwise, shut your mouth.
